Strategy #2: Continuous Assessment
It is essential that the assessment process should continue throughout the learning process, so lessons can be adjusted according to students' needs and to track progress.
Ongoing assessment has to be accurate in a differentiated classroom. If teachers make decisions based on false assessment data, the teaching and the activities that follow may be inappropriate. Start with the content standard (the "what"), then assess to create a path for students to achieve the standards. Focus on concepts, understandings, skills, and knowledge.
