On-Your-Own Presentation #7: Student Data Collection & Data Meeting
(Instruction and Evidence of Student Learning (Marking Period 3)
During the third marking period the instructional unit will be delivered. During the unit teachers will utilize common assessments to collect evidence of student learning. Teachers will review that evidence of learning to determine extension and remediation needs.
Four Tasks
During marking quarter 3, each PLC collaborative team will do the following whenever it is ready to do so:
1. Create and complete a PLC Common Data Collection Tool that records each student's name and shows each student's achievement level on the two or three learning targets from the Essential Standard Chart from marking quarter 1 for the entire PLC Collaborative Team. (You will have three choices of PLC Common Data Collection Tools. See buttons below OR under "Resources.")

Considerations for Assessment Design
This document just lists some points to attend to when creating assessments.
Depth of Knowledge
This is important to consider in assuring that our assessment actually assesses at the level we intended the students t to master the content.
Bloom's Taxonomy
This document shows Bloom's Taxonomy. This is another resource to consider when thinking about levels of learning.
